For every visitor

Accessibility Statement

Mental-health care should be reachable by everyone — and so should this website.

Our commitment

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing practice, not a one-time checkbox.

What's built in

  • Full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators, including a skip-to-content link
  • Color choices tested for sufficient contrast on every background
  • Respect for your system's reduced-motion preference — animations are disabled when you ask for less motion
  • Semantic headings, landmarks, and descriptive link text for screen-reader users
  • Labeled form fields with clear, specific error messages
  • Comfortably sized touch targets on mobile, and text that scales with your browser settings
  • No autoplaying media, no flashing content, and no information conveyed by images of text

Known limitations

Third-party tools used by the practice — the Headway booking page, the SimplePractice scheduling and messaging widgets, and the Psychology Today verification badge — control their own accessibility. If any of them presents a barrier for you, contact the practice and we will arrange an alternative; scheduling by phone is always available.

Tell us if something isn't working

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website — anything that is hard to read, reach, or operate — please let the practice know at customer@psychecare.care or (323) 806-5510. Feedback is genuinely welcome and will be acted on.

Statement last updated: September 2026.
