Cost should never be a mystery when you are seeking care. This page explains how insurance works at the practice, what cash-pay options are available, and how to verify your benefits before your first appointment.
We accept select insurance plans. Coverage, copayments, deductibles, and authorization requirements vary by plan.
Insurance appointments are scheduled and billed through Headway — you can check your coverage there when you book.
Accepted through Headway for clients located in California:
Oregon clients are currently seen on a cash-pay basis.
Please note: listing a plan here does not guarantee coverage for your specific policy. Insurance coverage is not guaranteed until it has been verified with your insurer. Benefits are confirmed before or at your first appointment.

If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, federal law gives you the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for scheduled, non-emergency services — to help you understand the anticipated costs of your care and make informed decisions. The practice provides one before care begins, based on the fees above; for ongoing treatment, it may cover expected recurring services for up to 12 months.
When you receive it: within 1 business day when services are scheduled 3–9 business days in advance; within 3 business days when scheduled 10 or more business days in advance; and within 3 business days of your request even if no appointment is scheduled. (An estimate is not required for services scheduled fewer than 3 business days in advance.) If your treatment plan or expected charges change, you may receive an updated estimate — when possible, no later than 1 business day before scheduled services.
What it does not include: services that are not reasonably expected at the time, including laboratory or diagnostic testing, psychological or neuropsychological testing, higher levels of care (intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or inpatient treatment), emergency services, and services provided by other providers or facilities. If additional services are recommended, you may receive an updated estimate.
Your dispute rights: a Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive services; actual charges may differ with the course of treatment. However, if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges through the federal Patient–Provider Dispute Resolution process within 120 calendar days of receiving the bill — and during the dispute, providers may be restricted from pursuing collection of the disputed amount. Learn more or start a dispute at cms.gov/nosurprises.
Questions about your estimate: call (323) 806-5510 or email customer@psychecare.care. You will receive your written, personalized Good Faith Estimate when you schedule. Effective October 1, 2026.
We would rather answer ten payment questions than have cost keep you from care. Reach out, or go ahead and schedule your consultation.
